Given the opportunity to research anything imaginable, we decided to delve into the most complex theories of the universe: particularly the newly established "M-theory", as we attempt to answer our own personal and still evolving question: are parallel universes possible? Using any and all resources at our disposal, including the internet, community and university libraries, magazine archives, and the History channel, we shall approach this question from all angles, all the while maintaining a healthy balance between scholarly skepticism and naive wonderment.
The universe is infinitely vast. Therefore, the possibilities are infinitely vast. To go even further, not only is every possibility just possible due to the infinite nature of the universe, but in fact very probable. Most scientists will go so far as to say that every single thing conceivable must happen, and happen infinitely. What does this mean? Well, somewhere out there, there exists an exact copy of you, living an exact copy of your life, and not just one copy, an infinite amount of copies.
What does M-theory have to do with it? everything. M-theory unifies Quantum physics with regular physics, helping scientists obtain solid data about crazy things like being in 2 places at once. M-theory also dictates that not only is the universe infinite, but there are in fact an infinite amount of universes, and remember the 4 dimensions that we can perceive? Well, that's only 4 out of 11. Basically, every imaginable thing, and infinitely beyond the human imagination, is happening right at this moment.
We are, by no stretch of the imagination, lifelong physicists. We make no claims to understand exactly how all the concepts involved in these theories work. But we can still have fun with it, we can still appreciate how wild and interesting this material can be. Through the blessings of the multimedia research project we can help our readers, and ourselves, get a better grasp of things; if one media isn't illustrating well enough, we'll show you another. Speaking of media, our prospective list includes things such as a children's book, a cartoon, recipes, maps of the universe, maybe even a poem or song? This list is, of course, subject to change, revision, addition or all out deletion

We would like to thank the humble and deserving Mr. Chahanovich for his contributions to expanding our minds during 9th grade earth science, and also for seating us right next each other for the majority of the year. Without him, we may never have looked beyond the inanimity of basalt toward the extradimensional universe. We would also like to thank the History Channel, primarily for existing. Eteranl thanks also goes to Dr. Michio Kaku for thinking all this crazy stuff up with his long hair and enourmous brain.
